That's basically what it is where I'm from too. That's pretty interesting! I don't meet a lot of people who recognize names from home. I think the most common one is chocobos? But those aren't gods or monsters.
It would make sense. If anything appeared in a bunch of different worlds, gods would be the least surprising.
[ If Nico checks his mailbox, he'll find a small package addressed to him that contains a purple knitted scarf. There's also a letter with tidy handwriting: ]
To Nico,
I saw this scarf on sale and thought you might have some use for it. The colour suits you too, in my opinion.
If you're not comfortable with accepting this gift, that is fine with me too. No hard feelings.
Warmly,
Gracious Skylark

Hey, Nico.
Where are you right now? And how's are you doing with the whole touching requirement?
[ How does he broach "hey I think I really need a handhold because I frankly feel like crap right now"... ]

[ Meanwhile, Lark, not realising how much of a call-out this is because if it was, surely he would've learnt it was an issue sooner, right? Right??? ]
Oh. This makes this a little less awkward then.
I think I need to hold hands but I'm not sure who to ask besides you?
[ ...Now that he's actually sent the message, this feels way more embarrassing than he thought it would.]

[ Lark's face is already starting to burn up too, and he's snacking himself a bit as if to say, "Get a grip on yourself, Lark!" It's no big deal. This is apparently just a factually true statement. ]
If it's not too much trouble for you, you can drop by my place? It's an apartment in Blossomcrown.

[ The phrasing does make him wonder, but he figures that conversation is best done in person, if he decides he wants to pursue it at all. ]
Here's the address. I'll be waiting.
[ Not that there's much he can do besides wait kind of uselessly, at any rate. It's a decent apartment on the third floor. ]

[ Wow, just like home already, huh.
Nico emerges somewhere in the living area. It's not a particularly big apartment, but it does look lived-in and cozy—until recently, Lark was living here with someone else. He might be able to spot Lark at the kitchenette with his back turned to him. It looks like he's making a pot of tea. ]
Does he even like tea? ...Guess I'll find out soon enough...

[ Lark very nearly jumps, startled. He doesn't actually make a sound however, and instead instantly reaches for a knife from the block on the counter, pulling it out and turning around— ]
[
Oh it's just Nico and he almost pulled a knife on him like a genius (good job, Skylark). This totally isn't awkward at all. He can still salvage this (right? right???).
So he'll lower the knife, looking quite embarrassed of himself. ]
Uh. Sorry about that.

...Well, it's the first time I've seen it used like this. Normally people break into my place through the windows or door.
[ Some mild attempt at dry humor. Granted, Lark looks kind of pale and unwell himself. ]

I'd appreciate it.
Go and take a seat. I'll get the tea.
[ And put back the knife, which he's doing right now. ]
